Our Core Values
Centrality of God's Word
We are wholly committed to the accuracy and authority of the Bible. Because Christ, the living word, is central to all we do, the Bible, the written word about Christ, is central. It is by beholding Christ in his Word that we are transformed into HIs likeness by the power of the Holy spirit. Because right thinking fosters right living, we value biblical, Spirit-anointed, passionate preaching, teaching and personal study of the Word.
2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Timothy 2:15, Psalm 119:16, Deuteronomy 11:18-21
Christ-centered Worship
Worship is a life-changing experience with the Lord himself. Because the focus of worship has shifted in the New Testament to the person of Jesus Christ, all of life is transformed into worship, as the Spirit now lives in us and we take Christ's life as our own. We seek, therefore, to engage both our hearts and our minds in devoted, heart-felt worship of God alone as we gather together as a body in worship as an extension and common expression of our everyday life in Christ.
Psalm 95:6-7, Psalm 2:11, Luke 4:8, John 4:24, Romans 12:1
Faithful and Fervent Prayer
In prayer, we freely and joyfully acknowledge our dependence upon God for all things. Prayer is the visible engine of all our efforts in ministry and in life. Therefore, we intentionally devote ourselves to prayer, so that we may develop greater freedom, power, and depth in our relationship with God. I Thessalonians 5:17, James 5:16, Pilippians 4:6-7, Acts 2:42, Mark 11:24
Witnesses to the Gospel
We seek to engage every believer in the great global work of God in bringing the gospel message of Jesus Christ to the nations. The love of Christ compels us to bear witness to the gospel to all those whom God brings into our lives, going in our own community and around the world in faithful obedience to Christ's Great Commission to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations.
Acts 1:8, Romans 10:14-15, Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15-16
Lifestyle of Stewardship
God has called all followers of Jesus Christ to use their time, service, talents, and treasures to help advance God's work on earth. Since everything belongs to God, and is a gift from Him, we value the strategic use of all our resources to bring glory to God.
John 3:16, Acts 20:35, Deuteronomy 16:17, 2 Corinthians 9:7
Genuine Community
We are united together in Christ as a common family of believers. Therefore, we encourage one another as we follow Christ together, building healthy, faith-sustaining relationships with other believers, and looking for authentic and practical ways to show the love of Christ to one another.
Psalm 133:1, Philippians 2:2-4, Ephesians 4:32, Romans 15:5, Colossians 3:12-14
